About the event

The "Give Them Wings" Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, organized by Harley-Davidson KL, was held on the 14th of January, 2023 at the Harley-Davidson Ampang. The program brought together a talented and diverse group of 9RCC members, including Dr. Kevin Ng, Dr. Nithiya, Mr. Jacky Lui, Mrs. Jane You, and Mr. Zairye, with the aim of fostering a strong connection with the Harley-Davidson community. The primary objective of the program was to provide an opportunity for participants to engage in a meaningful and impactful charity activity with a group of underprivileged children.

The event was designed to provide the children with a unique and enriching experience, including a ride on the back of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a flight at the Subang airport. To achieve these objectives, the program was composed of a series of well-coordinated activities and events. The program started with lunch and talks with members and committees from the Harley-Davidson community. This was followed by a bear painting activity, which aimed to bring out the creativity and artistic talents of the children.

At 4:00 PM, the Harley-Davidson motorcycles were prepared for a pillion ride with the children. Under the guidance of the experienced riders, the children were given the chance to experience the thrill and excitement of riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. At 5:30 PM, the participants gathered for a photo session, capturing memories and moments of the day that would last a lifetime.

Finally, the participants escorted a bus to the Subang airport, where they gave the children a flight, offering them a unique and unforgettable experience. The program ended at 7:30 PM at the Subang airport, marking the end of a highly successful and impactful day for the Harley-Davidson community and the children. The outcome of the program was the creation of strong connections with the Harley-Davidson community, the collection of meaningful memories and photos, and the provision of a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the children. 9RSC were honored to be part of the team along with Harley-Davidson KL, they both successfully created a memorable charity ride event.
