About the event
The International 9 Knight Riders Charity Council (9RCC) organized a unique event to visit the Sky Mirror in Kuala Selangor. This first open ride activity of 2023 was extremally successful as the participants had an exhilarating experience and gained knowledge about the importance of protecting the sea. The event was open to our members and to the public as well, meanwhile participants could choose to bring their own vehicles or bikes to join us riding to the destination, or just be our pillion or passenger.
Early in the morning 35 of the participants after meeting up at the gathering place, followed by the lead of our Saddle Club's superbike Knights and all the rest of bikers and drivers, moved towards Kuala Selangor. The event included various agenda such as a light breakfast at a restaurant in Kuala Selangor, ferry transportation to the Sky Mirror, photographs of the beautiful reflected view, and the exploration of small marine creatures on the sea shore. The event also included an educational speech about the importance of preserving the marine environment, and a funny quiz time with little prizes.
A positive interaction and a joyful atmosphere of the participants made our first open ride event very successful. The event was well organized, and the exciting activity brought everyone a memorable experience. The objective of promoting awareness about the importance of protecting the sea was also achieved. Ever since the event ended, we have still been receiving a lot of positive reviews and feedbacks. If you have unfortunately missed this event, please keep an eye on us, we will launch more series of charity activities from time to time.
